Puerto Santiago – Playa Las Arenas

Masca Tour – Teno rural park – Teno Mountains
From los Gigantes the Tenerife day trip continue on to Santiago del Teide before descending to Masca. Here we will visit the wonderful village that lies between the tropical vegetation and stunning scenery in the heart of the Teno rural park.
The park (Parque Rural del Teno) is a pristine and extraordinary place of beauty. Infact there the beauty of nature melt with the history, legend, tradition and typical Canarian rural architecture.
Balancing on a rocky plateau in the Teno Mountains, the village of Masca was cut off from the rest of the island until the 1970s. Infact just now is accessed by a road with breathtaking views.
Buenavista del Norte – Garachico
After Masca Tour the Tenerife Excursion continue down to Buenavista del Norte and then on to Garachico.
Garachico – Castillo de San Miguel
The stop in Garachico provides a short walk that will take us to visit the famous natural pools of volcanic origin. We will also visit the Castillo de San Miguel, a small fort built in the 16th century to defend the commercial port.
Garachico, formerly one of Tenerife’s wealthier towns, was engulfed in lava by an eruption in 1706. This is one of the most picturesque towns on the island, and one of Tenerife’s most popular day trip destinations.
From here the Tenerife Day trip we will continueto the historic district. Here we can admire the ancient palaces and squares reliving the history of this fabulous town. This architectural heritage has been preserved in all its beauty and integrity.
Icod de los Vinos
From Garachico the Tenerife Day Trip will continue to Icod de los Vinos.
We will visit the famous dragon tree, one of the most important natural symbols of Tenerife and all the Canary Islands. Infact it has been declared a national monument in 1917. The tree is 22 m high, with a lower trunk diameter of 10 m, and an estimated weight of 70 ton. It’s claimed to be a thousand years old and this gave it its local name, El Drago Milenario: the Thousand-Year-Old Dragon.
Icod de Los Vinos
Icod de Los Vinos owes its name to the delicious wines and the great amount of vineyards. This is the most important source of production of this area.

El Tanque – Santiago del Teide
On the way back to the hotel we will make two brief stops in two very interesting sights.
The first, located in el Tanque, will give us a spectacular view of the entire north coast of Tenerife. The second, located above Santiago del Teide, will offer a unique view of the Teide and de Santiago valley.
